Are you a church pillar or a church column?
A pillar is for support – it supports the building.
While it must be stable, solid and strong, it may not always be prominently visible.

At First Baptist Church, Dumas, the columns out front of the worship center are mainly decorative.
The pillars in the fellowship hall support the ceiling and worship center above.
The question is: are you an actual pillar of the church, or only seemingly a column of the church?
