Are You a Pillar or a Column?
Are you a church pillar or a church column?
A pillar is for support – it supports the building.
While it must be stable, solid and strong, it may not always be prominently visible.

A column is for show – it adorns the building.
While it is always prominently visible, it may not always be stable, solid or strong.
While it is always prominently visible, it may not always be stable, solid or strong.
The pillars in the fellowship hall support the ceiling and worship center above.
The question is: are you an actual pillar of the church, or only seemingly a column of the church?
Galatians 2:9 “…James and Cephas and John, who were reputed to be pillars…”
